New Seveso-certified logistics warehouse

The new warehouse dedicated to chemicals used in agriculture is authorised to store 6,000 tonnes of environmentally hazardous products within an area of 8,600 square metres. The facility was designed and built to meet the temporary storage needs of companies that manufacture and sell hazardous materials, offering top-notch safety and security measures.

The safety of the Seveso warehouse is guaranteed by precise design solutions that enable the segregation of products based on their features and the use of advanced technologies to prevent hazardous situations such as fire and contamination. Tests have shown that the walls of the warehouse provide a high level of fire resistance, with a rating of REI 240. Each storage area is equipped with a highly concentrated foam fire extinguishing system and ventilated areas set up to store flammable gases.

The entire perimeter of the warehouse and the sewerage system are waterproof, which prevents foam and fire extinguishing water from leaking into the surrounding environment.

The goods stored in the Seveso warehouse are also protected against attempted theft and intrusion. The warehouse has a security system consisting of multi-barrier alarms, sensors and cameras. The facility is constantly monitored by reputable security firms, and a caretaker is present to ensure security.
